My paintings immerse the viewer in suspended worlds of drifting forms, shifting light, and atmospheric movement. Inspired by the freedom I find in nature, I create compositions that move fluidly between the recognizable and the abstract—floral elements, organic gestures, and free-floating shapes existing somewhere between water, air, and sky. Forms hover at eye level, carried by invisible currents that suggest both depth and weightlessness. Through layered gouache and gesso across varied formats and scales, I create intimate spaces filled with contrasts in saturation, tone, texture, and depth.
Created in the small, often fleeting moments between the rhythms of motherhood and career, this body of work reflects a search for stillness, openness, and release. The paintings explore the tension between grounding and drift, structure and surrender, inviting viewers into environments that feel both expansive and deeply personal. These suspended spaces become meditations on movement, resilience, and the quiet freedom found in moments of pause, imagination, and transformation.
