I have been painting since childhood I minored in art in college but I took a 50-year hiaitus to pursue a legal career which is continuing. Several years ago the Township of Maplewood created art classes for seniors in oils, acrylics and water color. I have taken them all. Right now I am taking a class in water color. I am grateful to the Township of Maplewood for offering this program for seniors as it has brought me an enormous amount of joy. I do not have a particular painting style although some people say they can identify my work. I get my inspiration for my paintings from life. from photos that I and others have taken.
