I invite you to come see the new series I am working on called “WATCH”.
I am drawn to structures and ideas that are both catalysts for change and growth inhibitors. The in between moments before change are compelling to me.
I am interested in how these choices of which path to take affect trajectory in our physical environments and our emotional environments.
Aware of my surroundings of constant growth and development, challenging myself to welcome new systems, realizing connections, and missed connections, I am thoughtfully reflecting on my own evolution.
I grew up in Maplewood, NJ and at three years old, I knew I would be an artist. My introduction to oil painting was in college and I loved it. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts specializing in Painting. After a nine-year break from painting, I recently started painting, again. I often paint at night, well into the night, because I find it hard to stop once I start.
I have worked as a Fashion Designer for over 25 years. I taught Kindergarten through Eighth Grade Art in a local private school for a couple of years. I love all the details involved in renovating and have transformed some spaces for clients and in my own home. I presently live in Maplewood, NJ with my husband, my three children, and my dog.
