I am a self taught mixed media artist. My work is an exploration of the intricate interplay between color, form, and narrative, representing the essence of everyday life through my own vivid lens. The hope is to celebrate the mundane and the extraordinary, where each piece tells a unique story, infused with personal and collective experiences. My pieces draw inspiration from my connections with music, nature, travel and the human form.
Using a mixed media approach and in the spirit of experimental play and spontaneity, I incorporate collage elements with acrylics to juxtapose textures and patterns, emphasizing the interconnectedness of our experiences. The use of paper as palette and found materials serve to ground my pieces in the tangible to foster joyful emotional connections.
In my process, I seek to find and reveal the extraordinary in the ordinary and to embrace the vibrant tapestry of life.
