I embraced watercolor since serendipitously taking a class with Elizabeth Horowitz in 2001, just because it fit in with our lunch. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to accomplish a painting from something interesting which caught my eye and that I have never painted before. I have had much success painting people’s homes having painted over 70 either for gifts, remembrance of their past, or where they currently live.
I graduated the School of Advertising Art, attended both NY and NJ School of Visual Arts, DeVry University, on location in Sicily with Valerie Larko and studied with the
premier artists of New Jersey both Edwin Havas and Carl W. Burger. I am a signature member of the Garden State Watercolor Society, past president and current treasurer of the Essex Watercolor Club, treasurer of the Drew Art Assn, and member of the New Jersey Art Assn.. These organizations provided many wonderful friends with which to share and enhance my talent.
